I tailor all of my lessons to meet the needs and goals of each individual student. My goal is that students have fun in their lessons, all while becoming a well-rounded student!
curriculum
I currently use a variety of method books. Lessons include theory, technique and music appreciation, with repertoire spanning pop, classical, Disney, movie soundtracks, and sacred music. I love encouraging students to choose their favorite pieces to play for personal enjoyment and for recitals!
Piano lessons
Students receive one lesson a week in my home studio in Greenville, SC.
performance opportunities
I hold two studio-wide recitals a year. I firmly believe that music is meant to be shared, and recitals are a wonderful way for students to share their musical gift!
I also try to incorporate smaller performances throughout the year, such as playing for assisted living facilities or group classes.
